Cabinteely 1 Dingle Utd 5

First league game back after Christmas break and the lads didn’t disappoint. 

From the 1st whistle the boys were at it and they got in behind the Cabinteely defence a lot in the opening stages. A Couple of minutes in and Dingle went ahead. Marcus O’Neill  pace was too much for the Cabinteely centre half who fouled him in the penalty area, the resulting kick was slotted home by Kayden Cullen. A Few minutes later and Marcus got his goal. A Corner swung in by Jack Mcgrath and Marcus O’Neill got his head to it first and we were 2 up. Just before the half we were 4 nil up. Ben Reddy grabbed himself a nice brace. Just before the break Cabinteely pulled one back with the score 4-1 at halftime. 

2nd half started a little sluggish but Dingle were in control of the game. Not long after coming on, Alex Sherwin out sprinted the Cabinteely back line, he went 1v1 with the keeper but unfortunately his shot went wide. Game went a little stale but late in the game Kayden Cullen  scored his 2nd penalty of the match the end the contest.
